The Maryland Development Center Welcomes Ms. Jennifer Hammaker as a Board Member

The Maryland Development Center is pleased to announce that Ms. Jennifer Hammaker of TEDCO has joined the MDC Board of Directors. At TEDCO Ms. Hammaker is Director of the Maryland Innovation Initiative (MII), a program that funds projects at five Maryland Universities to commercialize intellectual property invented by faculty, staff, and students at the university. The MII program has invested over $22million in projects, leading to the creation of more than 60 startup companies. These companies have raised more than $50million in investment capital.

Jennifer will bring this critical experience to support MDC’s efforts in commercialization.” said Dr. Gil Blankenship, co-founder and Managing Director of MDC.
